Julie and I had quarter horses and loved to ride. Our dream was to go out west and to ride, but her precious life was cut short. Loosing someone so very close and watching them suffer is more that I have been able to stand. I have distanced myself from the horses but I am still drawn to them---how one can have such sorrow and joy at the same time. Even though there will always be pain of loosing her, our horses have helped me in ways I cannot describe. Thank you for such a wonderful ride and I hope to return again someday. I rode with Jennifer, on Tuesday June 18, 2002.
