We had made reservations at another stable thinking it was the Broken Saddle. We arrived early for our 9:30am ride, only to find that we hadnt made reservations at the correct place! Yes, we were quite the dumb tourists! Harrold was busy getting a large group ready for a ride and taking another ride out himself. I am sure the last thing he needed was two lost women on his doorstep expecting a ride. Upon arriving at the Broken Saddle- I was very impressed with the entire operation. The horses were in excelent shape, the tack was clean and well cared for as was the entire place! Harold was nice enough to take some extra time and call one of his wranglers and actually set us up with a private ride for later in the morning! Jennifer was our wranger and she is awesome! We had a great ride and lots of great converation and the horses were a joy to ride- I only wish my own horse was as well behaved! I really want to say thanks to Harold for setting us up with a great ride and thanks to Jennifer for coming in on such short notice to take us for that ride. I will definately look you guys up again the next time I leave Minnesota and head for New Mexico! |
